Ammar Bakkar is the head of New Media at the MBC Group and the editor of Alarabiyyah. net and MBC.net. He was Executive Director of Al Arabiyyah Information Technology in Riyadh until he joined Al Arabiyyah TV in Dubai. He is one of the best known Arab writers on New Media and Electronic Journalism. He did his post graduation and doctorate from the Oklahoma University in the US.
